After a very successful first year, the Rye Farmers’ Market is now all set for our second summer.
The Summer Market schedule begins June 23 and runs through October 6. The market will be open every Wednesday from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. During the summer, the Market is located at the Town Parking Lot to the right of the Rye Congregational Church where Central and Washington Roads meet. The mission of the Rye Farmers’ Market is to provide one stop shopping of local fare. This summer, many of our vendors will be returning and we have added some new vendors. Come and shop at Applecrest Farms (vegetables and fruits), Amelia Maes & Co.(jams dessert toppings and sauces), Seaport Fish, Rye Harbor Lobster, Hickory Nut Farm (goat cheese and goat milk soap), Sugar Momma’s maple syrup and cotton candy, Jennifer’s Jams and Jellies, Sea View Farm (bison and chicken), Buzz Bomb Organic Spice Mixes, Hurd Farm (pork, beef, poultry), Connolly’s Organics (vegetables), Blooming Fools (cut flowers), Jewell Towne Wines, Moor Farm (organic flours), Port City Coffee Roasters, Rye Ridge Nursery, Serenity Cafe (quiche, sandwiches, desserts) as well as our own Rye Coop members, offering vegetables, herbs, eggs and baked goods, fresh flowers and more.
Something new: Look for menus on our “What’s for Dinner Wednesday?” Blog. We’ll be suggesting menus using products that will be on sale at the market that day.
